Here are my recent projects!

First, here are two squares sent to be part of a comfort-ghan for a Virginia Tech victims friend.

And once I had my orange yarn out, I couldn't help but make a baby pumpkin outfit for my sisters baby, She's due in the middle of October! The hat is based on a pattern I found online, and the sweater is my own creation, it needs a little tweaking, but its so cute!

Heres my latest project! I finally got those squares put together, it actually looks pretty nice overall! it does lay flat, but I didn't have place good to lay it, so I held it up and Adam took the picture!
Heres the total green baby set, same hat and sweater seen below, but I finally got around to adding the mittens and booties, the sweater still needs buttons, and the booties and mittens need their ribbon, but you get the idea here. I think they are really cute!
I'm still slowing working on that white sweater, its just very very slow going.... I'm sure I'll finish it eventually!

I finished the blue cabled scarf!! its about 4 ft long, which is long enough for a kids scarf! made me happy to reach that length with the ball of yarn I had, it would have been sad to have to frog it! Heres the picture! When I was putting away the finished blue I found the black scarf I made for my brother, nbot the best picture but there isn't much detail to be seen, its Caron SS paired with black fun fur, so its super soft!
And here is a picture of a bunch more newborn/ preemie hats I made
And a pair of cute little booties

I've also started putting those squares together, at the suggestion of a bunch of ladies at the 'ville i'm using the same cream color to edge and join them as in the center of the squares, I'll post a picture when they are all joined!

I finished the Blue and Yellow!!! I think it came out really well! Here is my newest project and current WIP, I'm learning how to cable. well I guess at this point i've learned how to do it, and i'm just getting better and quicker at doing it.
Here is a closeup of the cable and the general pattern!
Heres another, better picture of my cloths , they are blocked now and look much better!

Tonights Project!!! I wanted to try making something with cotton, so these are what I made!

This one needs to be blocked, but its got decent striping through it!
This one is done in DC and then two rounds of SC edging, and its my favorite of the three!
I like the way this one feels, but the colors are a bit too random for my taste

Here's my latest sweater creation! I think its really cute, still no mittens or booties to go with it yet, but i'll get around to it eventually. I'm trying to get the blue and yellow ripple done. All thats left is weaving in all those blasted ends... the only real downfall to a multi colored project!

A few more pictures of completed projects! This first one is a scarf I made at my moms request, I paired caron simply soft in black with the fun fur, I love the way this scarf looks, its so fun, and soft and cosy!

This is a close up of some baby booties, I love how cute they are, and how fast they are to make!I made these squares.... well a while ago, and they still aren't put together, I think i'm going to edge them in black and then sc them together, I just need to actually do it..

Okay I got a picture taken of the white sweater i'm working on... it doesn't look as nice and white against my brown carpet, so you will have to trust me that it really is a pretty white. The bunched up stitches on either side are the sleeves, i'm about 1 inch into them... have to get to 7 inches, this is the slowest part since there are so many stitches on the needles, but since I like the project so much, its okay!

This is a picture closer up so you can try and get a good look at all those teeny tiny stitches. I hope the little baby that gets this likes it =)
And now some of my Current Wips!! I'm really loving some of these projects!

This is my second ripple, I love the way the blues and yellows look together, It will be for my sister, if she has a boy!

And this monster of an afghan is my stain glass afghan.... its 79 inches long without the boarder, and each panel is 12 inches wide! I'm thinking it will be five panels across which should make it big enough for a full sized bed!

I'm also working on this very cute very tiny white sweater, but I don't have a picute of it yet
I wanted a place to put all my crafty things in one place, then when people want to know what i'm working on or see all the things i've made then can come here to one place!

First some projects I finished a while ago....

My first baby hat, done in a mock cable pattern using dark blue red heart yarn

a baby set done in pink!
Two of the many tiny preemie hats I made to donate to a neonatal center

This is a blanket I made for my mom, it was my first real crochet project, all done in DC, I love the way crochet looks for making afghans!
This is a blanket I made for my Cousin Sheena, when she had her baby Julian. Its from a dishcloth pattern knit on size 10 needles with pretty baby yarn. You can't really see it here but it has blue and pink flecks through it!
This is one of the many baby sets I've made!

This is my first attempt at a ripple blanket, obviously meant for a girl with all its pinky and purpleness! i love the way this came out!
This is my first crocheted sweater and hat, I just mimmiced the pattern I had for a knit sweater and did it in SC
This is another of my baby sets, this one is bably blue!

There are more old project but I can't find the pictures right now... I'll have to hunt them down!
